w/ never say die, skies bleed black, falling stars burn bright
ill first start this thing off by saying every band played great. we made new friends (never say die), and our dudes skies bleed black and falling stars burn bright rocked it as they usually do. the turn out was great! i dont
think we've been around so many new people ever. it was one of the best times we've had and one of the greatest times meeting
new people. we loved it! and we appreciate every single person who came and talked to us. i personally think corresponding
with fans is very important. thanks guys.
some things happened at the show that was really unfortunate. aside from ruining the good vibes,
falling stars burn bright's set was disrespectfully disrupted by someone who decided to ruin things for all of us.
a show is a show to us. we like to play so as to have a good time. we like to come out and
make people feel happy. when people come to our shows we want them to forget about anything bad and just have a good time
for atleast 2-3 hrs. we DONT want to see people fighting at shows. that's just something uncalled for.
moshing is really up in the air when it comes to shows. i could care less what people are doing.
i just dont appreciate it when someone gets hurt. that's why dancing is so much more fun! but seriously though! you dont even
need to know how to dance at starcrossed shows! you just go ahead and flow to the music! it's fun too!
how about we make a deal: we'll give a free t-shirt to whomever we feel is the best dancer.
now that's some hot shit! think about it: you dont have to worry about anyone calling you a fag, you dont have to worry about
anyone thinking your dancing sucks, you dont have to worry about anyone hitting you in the face/balls/stomache, and you could
possibly pick up a girl/guy AND a free starcrossed shirt (and believe me, the new ones are hott***).
shows are supposed to be about fun. big up to sarah and ryan for representing. our girl sarah
humble put those dudes in there place. dont fuck with her or she'll bite your head off. WE LOVE YOU SARAH!
next show: oct. 9 w/ skies bleed black, falling stars burn bright, vampire moose.
this time, come and try to show us up on the dance floor. i doubt you will, but still.
give it a shot. (no one can hold up to the 4 of us! yowzaz!)

w/ sweetheart, avec
i havent really done anything on this website yet, because quite frankly i didnt know how until
now. but i feel writing about this show is a grat place to start. honestly, this whole night was probably one of my absolute
favorite nights of the summer. having shows in kent is always a treat, mainly because all of the friendly faces from around
town are ever so present. tonight was no exception.... a lot of people came to support the bands, and many of them even waited
for 3 hours for the show to start due to an error on our part. to all of those people especially, i want to say thanks.
also, we made new friends... all of avec. these people were great. their band was awesome,
and they definitely knew how to dance. the after show party was fantastic. the rug burn on my feet is still healing, actually.
and a huge thanks to leah (i hope i spelled that right) for letting us hang out at her place. really, what it comes down to
is that shows like these are the reason we even bother to make music. so, thanks to everyone for making it happen. we love
you.

w/ perhaps/it's/never/ending?, farsight, skies bleed black
sometimes when i look back at shows all i really remember is the actual show. i dont really
think about anything other than how well i played. it seems really selfish of me. i never really realized that.
this show was a little different. dont get me wrong. i loved playing this show. it might
have been one of the most successful ones we've played. many people showed up and we all had a fun dance
party.
but the highlights of this show werent how well we did onstage but rather how sweet our
dudes and us really are. i know we've all made friends with a lot of people both fans and in bands, but this show really
made me realize that.
it's not about how many people your band draws, it's not about how your fucking drums sound
while theyre being miced, or how your scream is louder than your singing voice, or how your pedal dynamics work, or how your
band uses more delay than youve ever heard in your life.
it's about going to eat pizza after playing a sweet ass show, or meeting the nicest people
at the cowboyclub benefit, or seeing ben freak the fuck out and scream out his lyrics as everyone else is doing the same,
or seeing p/i/n/e's first show and how happy mbazz looks as he's making weird faces into the crowd.
making friends from
doing this really makes everything worth while.
everyone makes the shows sweet.

w/ karate for kids, new wave
wow. what a great time! i dont think we all have had this much fun for a while now. karate for kids was excellent as usual. if you havent checked them out, do it now. they are a great band. new wave was also good. it was
there first show and they made the place dance.
i think we're all really happy about how the show went. a lot of energy, dancing, half naked
men (well... mostly just us half naked), and all around great time. we all danced to the justin timberlake record afterwards
upstairs. i think that was the icing on the cake for the evening. the whole night was something we'll all remember.
playing birthday parties really doesnt get any better than this. thanks a lot erin for having
us and happy birthday!
we'll all have to get together and kick that guy's ass from pittsburgh! what an asshole! haha.
hope to see all of you guys very soon.
